"The Highest of the Heights" is a suburb located 14 miles from downtown Cleveland in Southwest Cuyahoga County. Founded in 1927 from the land remaining unincorporated after the formation of North Royalton to the west and Brecksville to the east. Today, commercial development is moving forward at the intersection of Ohio State Routes 82 and 176, with large housing subdivisions being built along Ohio 176 south of Ohio 82.
