Facts

  • Features an arcade linking Rundle Mall to Grenfell Street.
  • The first four levels are for retail purposes, with levels 5 to 15 dedicated to office use.
  • The office tower was officially opened by the Prime Minister of Australia, Tony Abbott on February 5, 2014.
  • The goal is for a 5-star energy efficiency rating through the use of environmentally friendly technology such as solar panels to heat 70% of the building's hot water needs, double glazed windows and the re-use of rainwater for toilet use.
  • This project was initially planned at 19 levels and 92 metres, however the developers were only able to secure a tenant for 15 levels, meaning that in order to secure finance in the risk averse post-GFC world, they were forced to reduce the height of the building.
  • Features a supermarket as well as a 500-seat food court in the lower level.
