  • The Luzerne National Bank Building was designed in a Neo-Romanesque style.
  • It features a massive base with a large entry arch. Rows of arches and corbelled arches decorate the building above the base and near the top.
  • Figures of miners appear to hold up the ceiling of the banking hall, reminiscent of the coal-based economy which built the city in the industrial age.
  • Inside, the lobby ceiling has decorative reliefs in the Art Moderne style.
  • Crowning the building is a gable-roofed penthouse.
