Built by Integon Corporation, the GMAC Tower was an addition to Integon's existing 6-story headquarters.
Designed following the 1970s energy crisis, the facades of the GMAC Tower are responsive to differences in solar radiation. The north facade is all glass, while windows in the southern facade are angled for shading. Windows in the east and west facades, which get the harshest radiation early and late in the day, are reduced to narrow slits.
