Facts

  • This art deco gem features blue porcelain-enameled steel panels, glass blocks, and a large neon sign with an animated running greyhound.
  • The curved corner was actually a feature of the unfinished Caddick Theater. Construction started in 1921, but was never completed. Greyhound purchased the site in 1937 and designed the building around the existing foundation.
  • The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
